When is it worth delegating the commercial management of your business?

This is one of those questions that is a little hard to answer because, unfortunately, there is no single answer where you can say, “Oh, okay, that's it. Problem solved!" And I thank a dear friend and client of many years, Rafael, for bringing it to the table. From a business management point of view, businesses (regardless of their size) can be in one of three moments: They are businesses that have been established for a few years now, have a more or less stable client portfolio and their sales flow almost uninterruptedly. The owner (or owners) of the business do not have to make greater efforts to boost their sales because, with how much or how little they have done so far, their sales flow. Why complicate life


In the second moment are those companies and businesses that, for whatever reason, feel that what they sell is not enough and they need to boost those numbers. You also find here companies that have done the homework of planning their sales and setting business goals because they have realized that, the way they are going, they will never grow as much as they want. And finally you find Estonia Phone Number List those companies that are just starting out, have finished developing their products or services, have managed to amass a small volume of clients and cannot find a way to establish a sales strategy that allows them to achieve new business opportunities consistently. In addition, the owners of these companies are usually specialists in their respective areas but with little or no commercial training, so they do not know where to start.

If your company is in the second or third stage, the question you will be asking yourself will be the same one that my friend Rafael asked me: “Joel, do I delegate my business sales or not?” And, as I told you at the beginning of this post, the answer has as its starting point a great deal, my favorite word as a consultant. Delegate the commercial management of your business WHAT RESULT DO YOU EXPECT WHEN YOU DELEGATE THE SALES OF YOUR BUSINESS? The natural response to this question is: "WHAT I WANT IS TO SELL MORE" or perhaps something along the lines of "THIS SALES IS A ROLL AND I PREFER TO CONCENTRATE ON MY OWN" The best answer to this question would be one in the order of "THIS SALES IS IMPORTANT ENOUGH FOR MY BUSINESS TO REQUIRE IT TO BE MANAGED IN AN ORGANIZED AND PROFESSIONAL MANNER", although I can assure you that it is the one I receive with less frequently.
